Position/Title: Country Support Associate – Access Teams Base Location: Hanoi, Vietnam Length of position: One year, extendable based on performance and funding
Better Work program is an innovative partnership program between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). It aims to improve labor standards and competitiveness in global supply chains. Better Work involves the development of both global tools and country level programs. The focus is on scalable and sustainable solutions which build cooperation between government, employers’ and workers’ organizations, and international buyers.
MAG (Mines Advisory Group) is a neutral and impartial humanitarian organization clearing the remnants of conflict for the benefit of communities worldwide. MAG is co-laureate of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, awarded for its work with the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL), which culminated in the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty - the international agreement that bans antipersonnel land mines, sometimes referred to as the Ottawa Convention. MAG has been operating in Vietnam since 1999.
