The Center for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) is a Vietnamese non-profit organization legally registered in 2009. CSDS is promoting education for sustainable development with a strong emphasis on youth empowerment and community support. The multiple award winning Biogas Program (BP) has been under implementation since 2003, and has supported construction of over 137.000 domestic biogas digesters in 53 provinces in Vietnam. The Program is going through some major changes, taking the last steps towards its goal “to develop a commercially viable domestic biogas sector” in Vietnam.
