The Vietnam Youth Union Association has worked with health sectors in four provinces of Danang, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan to carry out a program to provide free check-ups, medicines and milk to poor people. Through the program launched on May 12th, thousands of ethnic minority people from mountainous communes in these provinces received check-up and medicines, and local children were presented with milk. On this occasion, members of the Association took part in a campaign to donate more than 200 blood units to local patients. The Danang Young Doctor Association also participated in to the program, provided healthcare to local residents, and presented dozens of wheelchairs to local disabled people.
