The Program “Winging children’s dream of going to school” with supports from individual donators and organizations was held on the night of November 15th in the Junior Secondary School of Huong Phung, Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri. The Programme was aimed at mobilizing individuals and organizations to raise fund for local poor students, a large majority of those were ethnic minorities. More than VND46 million and learning facilities were donated during the night and the money will now be given to poor students in the District, who might have to stop going to school since their families are too poor to support their studies. On the night, Defence Economic Unit 337 provided facilities for the student hostels in Huong Phung School and the Regional Development Program of the World Vision Projects presented 500 notebooks, 14 blankets and school uniforms for the school’s poor students with good school records.
