Vietnam and Thailand will cooperate and share experience in defusing land mines and explosives left from the war, state media reported. This is a result reached between Vietnam’s Deputy Minister of Defense Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Huy Hieu and Thai Minister of Defense Prawit Wongsuwon during their meeting in Bangkok. Gen. Hieu led the Vietnamese military delegation to visit Thailand from March 24-26. During their stay, the Vietnamese delegation visited the center of bomb and mine action belonging to the Thai Ministry of Defense.
