Vietnam reported 35,900 hungry households in Nov, raising the total numbers of hungry families to 748,700 in the first eleven months of 2010, the General Statistics Office said Nov 29. The country reported 2.91 million people suffering from hunger between Jan and Nov, including 151,600 ones this month. The hungers are mainly from mountainous and flood-hit provinces over the recent months. The government and organizations have provided over 42,000 tons of food and VND63.7 billion for the needy people so far this year. (GSO Nov Edition)
