As many as 100 domestic and foreign schools and educational enterprises are taking part in the third International Education Development Fair in Vietnam’s southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City from May 7-10. The four-day annual event highlights the educational system, information technology, teaching methods and school models, the municipal Department of Education and Training director Huynh Cong Minh said. At the fair, the Educational Publishing House handed out 70,000 textbooks and 700,000 notebooks to disadvantaged students in the southern region, he added. (Vietnam News May 10 p3)
