Not many people in Vietnam use e-learning programs despite helpful contents, hinting that traditional education methods are still popular among learners. Many e-learning websites, even free-of-charge platforms, saw a fall in the number of visitors and learners, the Tuoi Tre newspaper reported. The number of people registering for lessons at Zuni.vn, an e-learning website, fell sharply to 5,399 in August from 20,957 in May and 40,278 in June. Meanwhile, the visitors to the site decreased to around 700,000 per month in July and August from more than one million in previous months. Experts said that Vietnamese users currently access online learning services only when they need to search for information and have no long-term study plan.
