Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan on August 19 visited and presented 20 gifts to poor families with its members having rendered service to the nation in Nam Cuong commune, Tien Hai district, the northern province of Thai Binh. During the visit, she also granted 120 scholarships, worth 3 million VND each, to local poor students with excellent study performance. On this occasion, Vice President Doan offered incense at the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh in the commune, where Uncle Ho visited 51 years ago.
