The Saigon Times Foundation (STF) and Saigon Jewelry Holding Company (SJC) donated the first round of STF-SJC long-term scholarships to 15 poor studious students in HCMC. STF and SJC granted a total of VND150 million to the students, who are from College of Technology and Industrial Management (CTIM), Hoa Sen University and HCMC University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology for the 2011- 2012 academic year. Since 2007 STF together with businesses and benefactors has supported nearly VND2 billion in scholarships to 196 students in the provinces and cities of An Giang, Can Tho, HCMC, Binh Duong, Lam Dong, Quang Ngai and Danang.
