The People's Committee of southern central Phu Yen Province asked provincial authorities to finalize the list of poor households receiving government housing support by November 30. The province aims to provide support to 20% of the targeted households in 2014 and complete the program in the next two years. Under a government decree, each poor household will receive VND12 billion-VND16 million $570-$760) and can access 10-year loans worth up to VND15 million ($710) with an annual interest rate of 3% from the Bank for Social Policies.
