The Prime Minister has signed a decision (36/2013/QD-TTg) providing rice to students of day-boarding schools in remote provinces. Under the decision, students, mostly from ethnic minority groups, will receive around 15 kilograms per month per person for no more nine months. The rice will be drawn from national reserves. The decision will take effect on September 1. (Vietnam News June 20)
