The Central Highlands province of Gia Lai will spend VND 23.8 billion to help needy families with their electricity bills following the Government's policy on subsidizing poor households after the recent electricity price adjustment. Accordingly, 50,000 poor households in the province will be the beneficiaries from the policy. The Gia Lai Electricity Company has sent 200,000 notifications to its customers and posted relevant policy documents on the electricity price adjustment at its 200 transaction points. About 50,000 registration forms have also been sent to beneficiary customers, of which 12,000 have been collected so far. (www.nhandan.org.vn [1] April 05)
