Doctors from Nguyen Trai hospital and Kien Giang Association for the Poor have provided free eye surgeries for 180 poor patients in the Central Highlands of Gia Lai, the Van hoa newspaper reported Nov 24. All poor patients are Jarai and Bana ethnic people in districts of K’Bang, An Khe, Kong Chro, Phu Thien and Ayun Pa. Total expenses for the surgeries are funded by enterprises.
