Education supporting fund of Le Mong Dao, Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation (HBC) has granted 40 scholarships worth VND2.5 million each to poor students of the HCMC University of Architecture under the scholarship award program Dong hanh chap canh uoc mo (Accompany with dreams). This is the first time HBC and Le Mong Dao fund have directly handed over scholarships to the students who study hard and take part in social activities. As part of Dong hanh chap canh uoc mo, HBC has also cooperated with Le Mong Dao fund to give 45 scholarships to underprivileged school children in HCMC’s Can Gio District and another 110 scholarships to studious pupils in the central province of Thua Thien Hue. The two organizations sponsored construction of the HCMC University of Technology’s hall. Le Mong Dao fund has offered scholarships to poor pupils and students across the country with total capital of VND450 million this year. (thesaigontimes.vn Sept 27)
