A three-day culture, sports and tourism festival for ethnic groups opened in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on May 16 with various festive activities. Visitors to the biennial festival will have the chance to enjoy traditional music, dance and costumes of ethnic groups in the province, such as Pa Co, Ta Oi and Co Tu. They can participate in various traditional games and taste typical foods of the ethnic minority groups. Visitors are also introduced to homestay tours and tourist destinations in the mountainous A Luoi district, where the festival is held this year. A number of exhibitions will also be organized, looking at the national border, sea and islands, as well as tangible and intangible cultural heritages of A Luoi district and Thua Thien-Hue province.
