The Research Centre for Development of Mountainous Region and Ethnic Minorities has held a ceremony on May 25th to grant 19 scholarships, worth VND1 million each, to ethnic minority students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, under the National University of Hanoi. On this occasion, the VIEGRID Communications and Technology Company also gave 100 sets of Viet Tool software (to fix spelling mistakes on computers), worth VND 48 million, to other students at the University. As part of social activities of the Centre and Company, the scholarships aim to assist students, especially ethnic minority students, in their studies. (qdnd.vn May 26)
