The DanangCity Association of Victims of Agent Orange has marked its 10th anniversary as it puts into operation the 1st foundation of a centre to care for AO victims and unhappy children. The centre, which has an area of over 400 square meters and 9 functional rooms, was built with a total capital of over VND3.9 billion sponsored by the Joint Stock Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam. The centre is expected to serve 80 AO child victims in Lieu Chieu, Hai Chau and Thanh Khe districts. At the centre, besides being cared for and nurtured, the child victims will also be given rehabilitation and vocational training to integrate into the community.
