More than 30 Canadian education institutions will participate in Canadian Education Fairs in Vietnam’s biggest cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in March. The fairs which will take place at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi on March 2 and at the Legend Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City on March 5 will offer Vietnamese parents and students an opportunity to see the vast choices of Canadian education options. Information about scholarship opportunities and seminars on the visa application process, as well as the different education levels, will also be made available. Canada continues to be a favorite destination for international students with its world-class educators, the latest technology, competitive tuition fees, a diverse population, and scholarship opportunities. The numbers of Vietnamese students going to Canada for study reached more than 500 in 2008. Vietnam is now in the top 25 foreign countries with most students in Canada. (www.cpv.org.vn [1] Feb 24)
