The Young Physicians Association of Mekong Delta Ca Mau Province and the province's Vietnam Youth Federation gave free medical check-ups and medicines to 1,000 poor people in Thoi Binh District 's Bien Bach Dong village and Cai Nuoc District's Phu My village from May 7-9. The delegation presented gifts and scholarships which cost more than VND18 million ($900) to Bien Bach Dong village's poor students who had had good marks in the 2010-11 academic year.
