Argentina’s Foreign Ministry, the Science and Technology Ministry and the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) will organize a delegation to Vietnam from Feb. 18-22 to seek investment opportunities in the technology sector. The delegation includes leaders of the ministries, CONICET, and representatives of 15 organizations and businesses in technology fields of biology, new medicines, veterinary products, nano technology, intellectual property, ornamental plants, and technology transfer. This is the first visit held by CONICET to study the Asian markets, including Vietnam, China and Singapore, the Vietnam News Agency said. Established in 1958, CONICET has functions of boosting and deploying science and technology activities. It focuses on four major fields - agricultural science, biological and medicine technology, precise and natural science, and social and humanitarian science. (Vietnamplus Feb 16)
