A team from the Truong Son Landmines Clearance Centre on Feb 17 defused and removed a bomb from a farm in Son Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district in the central province of Quang Binh. The bomb, weighing around 100kg, was unearthed two meters below the soil surface with an active fuse, assumed to date back to the Vietnam War.
