The Central Highlands Province of Dak Nong has spent about VND130 billion to build 300 new classrooms for the upcoming school year 2012-2013. Of which, 125 classrooms were completed while the remainder is under construction and expected to be put into service soon. Moreover, the provincial People’s Committee also decided to spend VND8 billion for free textbooks and notebooks to 45,000 needy ethnic students. At present, there are still 664 temporary classrooms and 175 borrowed premises, as classrooms, from pre-school to secondary level, in Dak Nong. (www.qdnd.vn [1] Sept 3)
