A 300-kg bomb was found and reported to local authorities by Mr. Nguyen Van Hao in Yen Le Commune of Nhu Xuan District in the central Province of Thanh Hoa, while he was laying the foundation of a house. The Nhu Xuan Military High Command then assigned military units to guard the bomb and cooperated with relevant units from the Provincial Military High Command to remove the bomb to a safe site for defusing today.
