As many as 25 countries and territories worldwide will participate in the 8th Vietnam International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Pharmed & Healthcare Vietnam 2013) in Ho Chi Minh City on Sept 18-21. The four-day event will focus on five related industries, namely Pharmex dedicated to pharmaceuticals and their related equipment and technology; Medex to medical equipment and devices; Analytex to laboratory products and equipment; Hospex to hospital equipment and medical water and waste management; and Beautycare to cosmetic, massage, and spa products. The expo, which is expected to attract nearly 10,000 visitors, will host a series of seminars on medical waste management, pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and orthopedic surgery, enabling domestic and foreign healthcare and pharmaceutical enterprises to share experience and seek new business opportunities. The 7th Pharmed & Healthcare Vietnam 2012 attracted 300 businesses from 21 countries and territories to showcase their products at more than 500 stalls. (vov.vn Sept 6)
