On November 14th, the Vietnam Association of Study Promotion, the Investment Newspaper and the Nam Dinh provincial Association of Study Promotion presented 104 scholarships to outstanding students who come from poor families in the province. Accordingly, 54 students were given the scholarships from the Asian Fund for the 2010-2011 school year; and 50 students were provided with the Golf prize scholarship for poor outstanding students. The northern province of Nam Dinh is a leading province nationwide in the study promotion. The provincial fund for study promotion is between VND15 billion to VND16 billion each year. So far, the provincial Association of Study Promotion has presented 1230 scholarships worth VND2.267 billion to poor outstanding students in the province. (cpv.org.vn Nov 15)
