The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). EpiC Vietnam’s goal is to deliver efficient, affordable, results-based technical assistance and direct services while closing remaining gaps in Vietnam’s efforts to meet HIV epidemic control targets and address the COVID-19 pandemic. EpiC is also addressing trafficking in persons and global health security.

The qualified individual or agency will collaborate with EpiC, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Mental Health Hospital, other mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) experts, and the HCMC Department of Health (HDOH) in Ho Chi Minh City to develop a training curriculum package on mental health for healthcare workers (HCWs) in HCMC. This training curriculum will be used to train designated focal points at HDOH facilities (likely two per facilities) on how to provide peer support to HCWs at the site.
