The Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking a self-motivated and well-organised candidate to fill a vacant Research and Communications Officer and Interpreter position (Locally Engaged Staff – LE4). The exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 months from the date of advertisement.
Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Research and Communications Officer and Interpreter position will provide research to support the Australian Consulate-General’s priorities in Vietnam and assists in the development and management of stakeholder networks. Working with an understanding of the Vietnamese cultural and economic environments, the role also provides interpretation for Consulate-General staff.
The successful candidate will be offered a temporary non-ongoing contract for up to six (6) months with a potential for renewal or on-going permanent contract. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 32,766,907 to VND 36,879,443. Refer to Applicant Information Pack.
