DRC is an International non-governmental organisation, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world. DDG, as a mine action unit within DRC, wishes to expand its global humanitarian operations to include Vietnam, and more broadly, South East Asia and possibly, parts of the South Pacific.
After a successful year implementing MRE activities for schools and communities in the district of Duy Xuyen, Quang Nam province, DDG is currently is seeking one (01) professional individual to serve as MRE Field Assistants based in Quang Nam for a two-month period from January to end of February 2014 with an opportunity of contract extension once funding allows and the individual has proved their capability.
The assistant will be properly trained to ensure the quality of the job done.

Requirements
- University / college graduate in relevant subject area such as education or social work and/or equivalent;
- Willingness to work at the project sites with frequent travel;
- Previous experience working in a hardship location required;
- Experience in training preferred;
- Experience in public speaking an asset;
- Knowledge of the local context;
- Basic English skills with good listening skills and fair speaking skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Teamwork skills;
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications;
- Must be in good health;
- Previous experience working in a hardship location required;
- At least 01 year of experience in relevant area such as community based education, public information communications is an advantage.
