Invitation to bid: Insurance Package for WCS staff and dependents (Extended deadline)

The Wildlife Conservation Society, Viet Nam Program (WCS) is inviting bids from insurance companies or brokers to provide accidental and healthcare insurance packages for WCS staff and their dependents for the period of Jan 2024 to Jan 2025 with the following requirements:

1. Insurance package expectations:

Detailed insurance requirements for all staff levels are in the attached proposal form [2].

2. Supplier(s)’ requirements

• Has at least three years of experience in providing accidental and healthcare insurance packages;
• Has executed at least three contracts on accidental and healthcare insurance with companies/organizations with more than 50 insured people within the last three years;
• Has established rules for accidental and healthcare insurance;
• Has a fee guarantee policy applied in hospitals and clinics in at least 20 provinces/cities in Viet Nam, with a minimum of 30 hospitals and clinics in Ha Noi;
• Priority is given to suppliers that apply software/technology in customer services and tracking compensation;
• Priority is given to suppliers with experience in providing accidental and healthcare insurance services to WCS Viet Nam within the past 5 years.

3. Application procedures

• Any questions relating to this bid must be submitted by 17:00, 12 December 2023 to the email address: [email protected]. WCS Viet Nam will reply by email, all responses by phone or verbal exchange are not valid.
• Interested supplier(s) are invited to submit bidding proposals before 10:00, December 18, 2023, via one of the following ways:

1. A printed and stamped proposal should be sent in a sealed envelope to the WCS Viet Nam office at D Building, Villa No. 3 Thanh Cong, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi.
2. Alternatively, an electronic proposal should be sent to the email address [email protected] [3].

The bidding proposal form [4] is attached.

WCS is committed to integrity in procurement and only selects suppliers based on objective business criteria such as technical and price merit. Asking for or giving or accepting any money, fee, commission, credit, gift, gratuity, object of value or compensation from/to suppliers in exchange for or as a reward for business is not allowed.
