Save the Children is seeking for an individual consultant for SEL training for Spon staff in Lao Cai [1]. Details as below:
I. Scope of work
The Consultant will provide a 3 days-training course for a group of staff who working for Sponsorship Program in Lao Cai office, Lao Cai province.
II. Responsibilities of the Consultant
- Develop contents of training agenda on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) related to the context of caring children from 0 – 18 years old at home. This background knowledge will provide needed guidance to Sponsorship Program’s facilitators in their daily works.
- Prepare presentations, handout and other needed tools for the training.
- Conduct the training for a group of SC’s staff in 3 days
- Consult and answer the questions of participants on SEL during the training process.
III. Requirements for Consultant:
Mandatory professional requirements:
- Having certificates on children education, social and emotional learning or psychology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on supporting parents on SEL in family context.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on training SEL for teachers and parents
Recommended criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher on Social work, Psychology…
- Friendly and having new and creative teaching methods.
- Having experience of working with Civil society organization and international NGO
