SCOPE OF WORK – GURUs
To provide Menstruation and SRH Consultations under Social Business Unit (SBU)
Introduction
There are around 24 million women at reproductive age in Vietnam according to MOH/GOPFP of Vietnam 2020 and total women sanitary market is around $500 million annually, of those 80% market share is belonged to Kotex Kimberly Clark and Diana local brand but now belong to Japanese owned. MOH/GOPFP also predicted that on average, Vietnam's population increases by about 1 million people each year. In the coming years, the number of women of reproductive age is expected to continue to increase and will peak in 2027-2028. Obviously, Menstrual cup market in Vietnam still small with several brands including 2 local made brands such as Beucup and Lincup. They are so active in social media and digital platforms especially Beucup as they are hiring famous KOLs for product promotion.
LA cup Luneale which PSI SBU is promoting have some advantage selling points over other products such as Moonpad© (no tail) while other product having tail; imported from France and nice design and high quality of medical silicon. Therefore, if the women decide to use menstrual cup instead of other menstruation cares, LA cup Luneale will likely to be chosen.
With that, the priority of promoting LA Cup Luneale to the market is to emphasize the use of menstrual cup among other menstruation care methods. Through collected customers insights, it is identified that the barrier of using menstrual cup is that end-user worry of how to use menstrual cup properly (safety, cleanliness...) as well as afraid of menstrual cup cannot remove after inserting. In order to educate end-users to overcome these barriers, PSI/VN would like to recruit a doctor (GURU) who are specialist in SRH – experienced in Menstrual cup study, will support SBU team to promote Menstruation care, SRH as well as other related reproductive products with below SOW in 6 months. (From October 2023 through April 2024)
Scope of Work
1. Provide online consultation, information/knowledge sharing on Menstruation and SRH for women at productive age:
- Participate in meeting with SBU team to discuss and finalize detailed monthly workplan.
- Provide information, knowledge about Menstruation care and SRH knowledge for women at productive age include but not limited to:
- Writing and sharing information, knowledge about Menstruation care and other SRH topics (pre-determined in monthly workplan) through online channels such as Tiktok, Facebook page, Instagram, Youtube, etc.
- Answering questions/concerns about Menstruation and SRH.
2. Participate in ad-hoc online or offline events about Menstruation care and SRH for women at productive age organized by PSI SBU:
- Work with PSI SBU team to discuss event content and finalize planning activities.
- Promote the event through all online channels (Tiktok, Facebook/Instagram/ youtube, etc.)
- Participate in the event to:
- Share Menstruation care and SRH knowledge and information relevant to GURU’s expertise.
- Directly answer question/concern relevant to GURU’s expertise from event participants
Service type and key expected deliverables
- Type of services: Part-time consultation service and up to 30 days during October 2023 through April 2023
- Gross daily rate up to VND 2,000,000/day - pending candidate’s qualification.
- Expected deliverables:
- Provide guidance and counselling on Menstruation care and SRH topics for SBU campaigns.
- Content for up to 30 Menstruation care and SRH related activities include posts, video clips and livestream sessions on social online platform channels.
- Be expert in the field of SRH health. M.D is an advantage
- Have at least 4 years of working experience in providing consultation, participate in study in the field of Menstruation care and SRH.
- Friendly communication style, listening and counselling skills.
