1. English teacher ( Vietnamese)
Role Description:
- Head of English has principle responsibilities for the development and the delivery of the specialized English Language curriculum to the trainees.
- Work closely with the English Language Teachers and volunteers to continually develop and deliver the English language for special purposes course
- Responsible to support Training work with the KOTO training plans, dealing with external customers and training related work assigned by Training Manager.
Expected Outcomes:
- Maintenance of quality standard of English program by the provision of effective training of English curriculum in line with KOTO requirements
- Effective management of English Training curriculum
- Effective monitoring, evaluation and reporting of trainees’ progress in the English training program.
Formal education:
Bachelors degree or higher from accredited college or university in Training, Education or related field.
Work experience:
Minimum of 5 Years related experience in English Language training and curriculum development,
2. Marketing Communication Executive (Vietnamese)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Generating & liaising with potential international & domestic sponsors, donors, networks, and partners
- Provide assistance to the trainee sponsorship program: ensuring good communication with sponsors, organizing tours & visit between sponsors and trainees, liaising with other departments to send out trainee reports & trainee letters quarterly.
- Generating ideas for fundraising, join-promotion, networking & KOTO annual events
- Contribute ideas to the marketing team for events, merchandise, publications, partnerships and other activities.
- Promote increased sales of merchandise material through innovative and imaginative sales displays on all levels of Koto Restaurant
- Assist in raising the profile & revenue specifically of the restaurant & catering services
- Meet with customers and tour groups and providing talks about KOTO
- Attend to general fundraising, press conference, networking & social activities to build up relationship & database.
- Handle and coordinate all media requests and enquiries in a timely manner
- Build up & expand relationship with local & international media
- Be actively involved with the recruitment of new trainees and propose useful communications tools to raise awareness of disadvantaged youth population in Vietnam about KOTO program.
- Develop and manage the production of events’ marketing collateral and ensuring that deadlines are met
- Coordination of events’ advertising and promotional programmes
- Develop and coordinate advertising materials or related communication activities.
- Develop and create media releases, key messages, media FAQs, speeches, and presentations where required
- Co-ordinate and management of events
- Keep current with marketing trends, innovations, communication techniques and any media regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree required and at least 2 years experience in dealing with media and exposure to event organising & fundraising
- Proficiency of written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
- Have a good relationship with both local and regional media
- Microsoft office/presentation/communication & marketing skills.
- Basic understanding of the design process
- Organization, flexibility and time-management
- Public speaking and conduct the interpretation
- Negotiating skills, confidence and discretion.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure
- Positive “can do” attitude.
