The Swiss Cooperation Office for Vietnam (SCO) is the representative of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). It is responsible for the coordination of the Swiss Development Cooperation of the Swiss Government in Vietnam.
We are seeking a highly qualified team consisting of one international consultant (team leader) and one national consultant to carry out an analysis of seaweed sector in Vietnam. The mission is foreseen to take place during October/ November 2014.

The criteria for selection include: Business or Development Economics background; Considerable and proven experience in value chain, market analysis, market development and growth, with a proven track record of working in the private sector; Detailed experience in developing markets in a number of commodity value chains (deep knowledge and understanding of the seaweed sector in other countries is an advantage); Experience of working in and with International and local NGOs as well as local government and businesses; and experience of markets in the region and global, especially for seaweed; fluent English (writing, speaking).
