2. CONTEXT
CIDEAL Foundation is a non-profit organization that works in International Cooperation field since 20 years, carrying out research and training activities, technical consultancies, and implementing developmental projects in different countries. Currently the NGO has experts and local offices in Latin America, Caribbean, Africa, Asia and Middle East.
CIDEAL with Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women are developing a project in Thanh Hoa province, middle-north of Viet Nam, in four communes (Hoang Khánh, Hoang Giang, Hoang Xuan and Hoang Phuong). The currently action pretends, involving local actors in the process, to reach the integral development in these communes which are in low levels of it.
The project has different axis of actuation in order to improve the life conditions of the beneficiaries: sustainable food sovereignty, health and incomes improvement, credit access, mitigation of natural hazards, and improvement of the water and sanitary access. Main cross-sectional aspects are gender, reducing the negative impact of migrations, environment conservation, and improvement of the human development conditions.
3. PURPOSE
According to this purpose, the analysis of the currently situation and the development of different proposals from this diagnosis, turn out a need.
The irrigation system construction should start up on March 2012.
4. TIME FRAME
3 weeks from the date of publication of this notice.
5. ITEMS TO INCLUDE
The proposal should include information about:
1) Experience in the area of intervention: Hoang Hoa District, Thanh Hoa.
2) Applicants should have experience in analysis and implementation of irrigation system. Experience in similar work.
3) Details of the working stages in field and in office.
4) Teamwork proposal. CV.
5) Appendices that will be added to the study, explaining the techniques, times and software used to design and implement the irrigation system.
6) Time frame to perform the design of an irrigation system in Hoang Khanh.
7) Budget proposed to carry out the design.
