CONSULTANT TO CONDUCT TRAINING FOR FARMERS GROUPS AND HOUSEHOLDS PARTICIPATING IN LIVELIHOODS ACTIVITIES IN AN GIANG PROVINCE
In partnership with MOLISA as the key Government of Viet Nam partner, and its Department of Child Affairs as implementing focal point, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) is implementing the Project, “Technical Support for Enhancing National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam” (ENHANCE) with financial support from the United States Department of Labour (USDOL).
An Giang is one of three selected provinces that has been marked for direct interventions, specifically, agriculture and fishery are pre-identified as priority sectors for interventions in targeted 9 communes in 4 districts of An Phu, Chau Phu, Cho Moi and Chau Doc. A socio-economic and livelihoods assessment that aimed to inform the design of the project extension phase was conducted in September 2020 in An Giang. The findings of the assessment provides insights into current livelihoods practices and actual needs and recommends a specific plan to support livelihoods activities, including scale-up options for each of the models established in the previous phase.
The ILO ENHANCE Project is seeking to recruit a consultant to conduct trainings for farmers groups and households in project communes in An Giang with details as in the attached TOR [1].
