The international non-governmental organization World Vision is seeking consultancy for research/assessment of natural disaster and climate change risks concerning agricultural production and digital transformation in the field of agriculture and disaster prevention.
Location: Communes of Binh Luong, Thanh Lam, and Yen Cat Town - Nhu Xuan District - Thanh Hoa Province
Time: November – December 2023
Scope of work:
a. Methodology: Research and secondary data collection including project documents, local materials, disaster prevention plans (including seasonal/disaster calendars), disaster prevention maps, and disaster history available in project villages/communes. Suggested quantitative methods include in-depth interviews, group interviews, and appropriate quantitative methods based on the research scale.
b. Preparation: Fieldwork plan, including the number of target households to be surveyed, survey subjects, participants, time, and information collection tools.
c. Number of consulting experts: At least 02 experts (01 principal consultant and 01 assistant) with expertise in agriculture, value chains, economic development, climate change, social sciences (preferably experts with experience in digital transformation).
