CALL FOR PAPER – INVITATION LETTER
On behalf of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Vietnam Institute of Economics (VIE), we are delighted to invite you to the 3 rd Annual Learning Symposium in Hanoi. The Annual Learning Symposium is unique in its multidisciplinary approach of utilizing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for management. 2018 will build on the success of the 2017 Symposium and take the opportunity to discuss the main theme “Vietnam's Engines of Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Growth: Using Evidence to Inform Policies and Projects” as well as the following sub-themes:
- Scaling-up innovation and science and technology as a source of growth
- Promoting productivity that protects the environment
- Producing a more inclusive labor force
The Symposium aims to gather researchers, Government of Vietnam officials, the donor community, development practitioners, and students to discuss not only different aspects of research, assessment, and evaluation, but also how to utilize their findings to address Vietnam’s emerging issues in order to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
We invite you to propose one or more abstracts that summarize key results of recently conducted researches, assessments and/or evaluations on any of the subjects scheduled for the Symposium. Please refer to the attached documents for instructions.
All abstracts should be submitted via email to [email protected] [1] with a copy to [email protected] [2] by July 15, 2018. Submitted abstracts must state “Abstracts Submission- Evaluation Learning Symposium” in the subject line.
