iDE (International Development Enterprises) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending poverty. With over 40 years of experience, iDE is a pioneer in market-based development. In Vietnam, since 1991, employing a market facilitation approach with strong partnerships at local and national government levels, iDE has implemented projects in pig value chain development, fertilizer deep placement commercialization, clean water, tobacco control, micro- irrigation technology commercialization and market-based sanitation. iDE Vietnam focuses on building the capacity of government partners and private sector actors to effectively scale market-based solutions, resulting in lower poverty, increased climate resilience, better health and cleaner environments.
iDE Vietnam invites interested international recognized audit firms to submit proposals in English for the two following audits:
- Annual audit for one project named Creating a Sustainable Circular Economy for Plastic Waste in Vietnam (a.k.a PwP project). Please see the link for the Terms of Reference: Pwp annual audit 2023 - ToR [1] and PwP - Supporting Note for Auditing [2]
- iDE Vietnam’s statutory audit for 2023. Please see the link for Terms of Reference: iDE Vietnam annual audit 2023 - ToR [3]
It is expected that only one firm will carry out both audits mentioned above. Two separate proposals; however, are required from each interested audit firm. Each proposal should include, at the minimum:
- A technical proposal, including audit processes and list of those who are directly involved in the assignment, with detailed CVs
- A financial proposal, including all costs related to the work (time, travel, etc.)
A separate proposal is required for each audit. The two audits should be conducted at the same time. A separate final report and management letter must be submitted for each audit. Proposals, related documents and final reports must be in English.
Please note that in 2023 the following projects are implemented:
- PwP project: $500,000
- GLIMER project: $50,000 (started from October, 2023)
