In partnership with MOLISA as the key Government of Viet Nam partner, and its Department of Child Affairs as implementing focal point, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) is implementing the Project, “Technical Support for Enhancing National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam” (ENHANCE) with financial support from the United States Department of Labour (USDOL).
Reducing and moving towards elimination of child labour requires active participation and close coordination of all levels, sectors, and all sectors of society, particularly governments at all levels, officials, schools, media agencies, social organizations, employers and employees associations, including Vietnam Cooperative Alliance (VCA).
In the context of growing integration of Vietnam into global integration, enterprises and cooperatives need to pay more attention to meeting international standards and commitments on labour, especially child labour. Therefore, the VCA respectfully requested ENHANCE Project to assist in compiling a set of manuals on child labour prevention and elimination tailored specifically to the needs of the collective economic sector to help it to implement international standards on labours, specifically child labour.
The overall objective of this activity is to develop a practical and user-friendly manual on child labour prevention and elimination, which is tailored to the needs and conditions of cooperatives and appropriate for the use of cooperative members and officers of VCA system. The manual aims at prevention and elimination of child labour in their production and supply chains and contributing to the common effort of the long-term and sustainable prevention and elimination of child labour in collective economic and in Viet Nam.
The ENHANCE Project is seeking a consultancy service to develop a practical and user-friendly manual on child labour prevention and elimination, which is tailored to the needs and conditions of cooperatives and appropriate for the use of cooperative members and officers of VCA system. The manual aims at prevention and elimination of child labour in their production and supply chains and contributing to the common effort of the long-term and sustainable prevention and elimination of child labour in collective economic and in Viet Nam.

- Technical proposal outlining key sections and contents of the manual package; and
- Detailed budget estimations
