Vietnam’s southern city of Can Tho has approved a list of ethnic people who will enjoy support from VND24.4 billion under the Resolution No. 74 by the government, the Giao duc & Thoi dai newspaper reported Jul 22. Of the sum, VND11.6 billion was sourced from soft loans, VND10.4 billion from the central budget and the rest from other sources. Can Tho province will use the amount to support the beneficiaries in Co Do, O Mon, Thoi Lai to help them to overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives.
