The central Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee has approved two projects on building vocational educational establishments, worth VND110 billion. As scheduled, the two establishments will be put into operation in 2012. A project on building a vocational educational establishment for ethnic minority groups in the south of central Vietnam has been carried out in Phuoc Dai commune, Bac Ai district, with an investment of VND60 billion, for 500 to 600 students per year. The project will provide short-term training courses for laborers from ethnic minority groups in the south of central Vietnam. In addition, a project on building a vocational school has been carried out in Tri Hai commune, Ninh Hai district. It will provide vocational training courses for 1,500 to 1,800 students per year, with an investment of VND50 billion. (cpv.org.vn Oct 25)
