Authorities of Vinh Phuc province have boosted infrastructure development for rural areas particularly the ethnic minorities, according a report of the Communist Party of Vietnam. So far 100% of 40 communes in total in the province have access roads in line with the Government’s poverty reduction program (program 135), and approx 1,000 poor households have houses, and more than 1,300 families have gained access to clean water. The province has 13 groups of ethnic minorities with 40,000 people of San Diu that accounts for 90.8% of the total.
