Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training sent 900 post-graduate students abroad for further training under the agreements signed with foreign nations in the first ten months of this year. Of the figure, 330 officials attended doctorate training courses, 184 took MA training courses and 71 attended apprenticeship in the U.S., the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, Russia, Japan, China, Singapore and other countries, the Ha Noi Moi newspaper reported Nov 10. More than 7,000 Vietnamese officials and students went aboard for training under the program over the past ten years.
