Vietnam will host an International Biology Olympiad in 2016, said the Government Office. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to work with agencies and localities to map out a plan to hold the event, the Dat Viet newspaper reported Monday, citing the office. Last year, four Vietnamese students won one silver and three bronze medals at the 20th International Biology Olympiad in Tsukuba. Vietnam has attended the annual competition for 16 times and bagged a gold prize at the 11th Olympiad in Turkey in 2000.
