Vietnamese senior officials proposed for stronger ties with France in the fields of education, infrastructure and anti-climate change, the Communist Party of Vietnam said on its website Mar 18. Minister-Chairman Nguyen Xuan Phuc of the Vietnamese Government Office and senior advisers of French President and Prime Minister held talks on bilateral cooperation in these fields Thursday. Vietnam expects to receive an official visit of President Nicolas Sarkozy this year, the party’s website cited Phuc as saying. Phuc also worked with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on Vietnam’s administrative reform during his visit Mar 16-18.
