Authorities in the northern province of Quang Ninh on April 22 gave a nod to Vietnam TDX Joint Stock Company to build a waste-to-power plant. The plant will occupy between four hectares and six hectares of land in Quang Hanh ward of Cam Pha Township, the Cong An Nhan Dan newspaper reported. The plant is expected to treat 500 tons of waste discharged from Ha Rang rubbish dump to generate 10,000 kWh of power a day.
