Legislation Department, Government Committee for Nationalities and authorities of Vietnam’s central province of Khanh Hoa have held a conference to disseminate law for the mountainous ethnic minority. The events attracted over 140 leaders of Khanh Son district and Cam Ranh township, the Van hoa newspaper online reported June 2. At the meeting, the participants were educated on the Marriage and Family Law, Forest Protection and Development Law, Family Violence Protection Law and other laws. They are also provided relevant data. The move is aimed to raise awareness on law for the ethnic people so that they implement laws more effectively.
