The U.S.-based East Meets West Foundation (EMW) has granted over $95,700 for the study encouragement association of Vietnam’s Quang Nam central province, the Thanh Nien newspaper reported on June 3. The EMW provided VND5.2 billion for clean water supply stations in the local district of Dai Loc late 2009. East Meets West Foundation, found in 1988, is a non-profit charitable organization in Vietnam, which describes itself as “the foundation for learning, healing and health.”
