The Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang authorities have approved VND20.395 billion ($1.07 million) to build houses for poor families in the first phase of 2010. Of the total, VND5.314 billion will go to Cai Be district, VND5.424 billion to Cai Lay district, VND2.582 billion to Chau Thanh district, VND1.837 billion to Tan Phuoc, VND1.416 billion to Cho Gao district, VND763 million to Go Cong Tay district, VND1.469 billion to Go Cong Dong district, VND1.082 billion to Tan Phu Dong district, VND94 million to Go Cong township and VND414 million to My Tho city.
